Diversity & Inclusion

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection believes it is crucial to foster safe and inclusive spaces for all students, including students of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expression, abilities, economic status, cultures, races, and backgrounds.

We are working to update our Kids in the Know resources to better reflect this principle.

In the meantime, we encourage educators using our existing resources to make any adaptations needed to meet their students’ unique needs. All of our Kids in the Know resources are rooted in evidence-based strategies that are intended to help every child and youth build their resiliency skills and reduce their likelihood of victimization, both offline and online.
